This song is about our experience in LA last summer. It was our first time out of state as a band to finish some songs off of our recent EP. We had planned on working with an artist who offered to mix our songs and let us crash at his place. The day of the departure he ghosted us without any explanation, we arrived at LAX, with literally no place to stay and from there the inspiration came about.
lyrics
I went for a jog and saw the freaks out in LA
Took a bus from LAX and ended up there all day
It will take a toll on you, you have to stay controlled
Money goes much fast out there and water turns real cold
For five long days
With no place to stay
Five long days
in LA
Drivin thru this craziness you have no where to park
Tickets all along the windshield in Echo Park
Gotta move to Silverlake. but my friends always run late
We cant even find the keys to the place we will stay
For five long days
With no place to stay
Five long days
in LA
Everyone was walkin with their shades on Sunset Strip
In the fancy cafes you will see they all look rich
And fake to me
No
And fake to me
And fake to me
No
And fake to me
For five long days with no play to stay
In LA
